Check Symptoms & Get Care—Understand Your Healthcare Choices

Perhaps you’re not sure if you should go to urgent care or see your primary care doctor. Check Symptoms and Get Care is an online assistant that helps you understand your care options—whether you have the flu, a cold, a burn, or an accident. You can find it on MyMountSinai and our web site. Just answer a few questions, and you’ll get immediate recommendations about your care, or you can see all your options without answering any questions.

Virtual Primary Care—Skip the Office Visit Whenever You Can

Mount Sinai is on the forefront of telemedicine, and we are using it to enhance the primary care experience. From streamlining your wellness exam to quickly getting prescription consults, we are making many aspects of getting primary care more convenient. Through Mount Sinai Virtual Primary Care, you can get questions answered quickly by our dedicated staff. Schedule a Wellness Exam or other preventive care visits. Get digital reminders, and see the next steps for your care laid out clearly.

Virtual Urgent Care—At Home, On the Go, Anytime

For some common urgent health care needs such as flu or COVID-19, it’s a lot more convenient to see a doctor at home on your smartphone or other device, using Virtual Urgent Care. It’s easy to start a video visit through the MyMountSinai app. You can share your symptoms, discuss next steps, and obtain any needed prescriptions.

Mount Sinai Virtual Assistant—Ready to Chat

The Mount Sinai Virtual Assistant is a chatbot located in the lower right of our website and in MyMountSinai under the “Need Help?” section of the menu. Just click on it, and you can get help managing your appointments, request medication refills, billing, and find locations and directions. You can also cancel, reschedule, or view your upcoming appointments.

Message Only Care – Skip the Video

Some common health conditions such as red eye, urinary tract infections, yeast infections, cold sores, birth control, and emergency contraception can be resolved without an in-person office or video visit. Use in MyMountSinai (MyChart).
